Public Meeting Set to Discuss Versailles & Osgood Bike and Pedestrian Master Plan

The meeting will take place Wednesday in Versailles.

(Versailles, Ind.) – A public meeting will be held this week regarding the Versailles and Osgood Bike and Pedestrian Master Plan.

The meeting will be held on Wednesday, November 13 from 6:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Versailles Town Hall, 128 N. Main Street.

Those in attendance can be involved in planning future biking, walking and hiking venues in Versailles.

In October, the Town of Versailles was awarded a Biking & Pedestrian Improvement Grant by the Indiana Department of Health to work with a consultant to develop a plan to guide future development related to biking, walking, and hiking

Last week, the Ripley County Community Foundation awarded $50,000 in grants to 13 local nonprofits. Among the grant recipients was the Town of Versailles to support a trail to Osgood through Versailles State Park, which would feature a floating dock bridge.

Community members are encouraged to take on online survey to help with trail planning. The survey can be found here.
