The two drug take back events will be the last drive-thru events of 2022.

(Franklin County, Ind.) - The Franklin County Sheriff’s Department will be conducting their last two drive-thru prescription medication take back events for 2022.
This Friday, October 7th, between 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m., Franklin County Sheriff’s Deputies, along with officers from the Oldenburg Police Department will be set up at the Village Store at 22182 Main Street in Oldenburg to collect any unwanted, unused, or expired prescription medication for safe disposal.
The last drive-thru event for 2022, will be held on Tuesday, October 11th, between 5:00 p.m.-7:00 p.m., in the parking lot of the Cedar Grove Fire Department on 2nd Street in Cedar Grove.
Deputies would like to thank our community partners, Oldenburg Police Department, Cedar Grove Volunteer Fire Department, Margaret Mary Health, Stayin’ Alive LCC, and the Village Store of Oldenburg for making these events possible.
Deputies would also like to remind citizens that if you can’t make either drive-thru event, there are permanent drop off sites at the Franklin County Sheriff’s Department at 371 Main Street in Brookville, the Batesville Police Department at 132 South Main Street in Batesville, and Margaret Mary Health’s main campus at 321 Mitchell Avenue in Batesville.
