Pre-Turkey 5K Supports Area Food Pantries

Register now for the Thanksgiving Eve race.

(Aurora, Ind.) - Would you like to burn to calories before you load your plate up this Thanksgiving?

St. Lawrence, St. Mary and St. Teresa will host their annual Pre-Turkey 5K Run/Walk on Wednesday, November 27. 

The race will start at 5:30 p.m. at Gabbard Riverfront Park in downtown Aurora. 

By entering the 5K, you will help the Catholic Parishes in Dearborn County feed the hungry and help families in need this holiday season. The race supports St. Vincent De Paul, the Clearinghouse, and Dillsboro Food Pantry. 

Cost to participate is $25. Donations will also be accepted. 

Runners and walkers are also being offered a 20 percent discount per event for registering for both the Gobble Wobble and Pre-Turkey 5K's.
