Possible Fundraising Scam Claims To Be With Boone Co. Schools

The school district says no school-affiliated group is conducting any door-to-door solicitations.

(Boone County, Ky.) - Boone County Schools are warning about a fundraising scam.

Residents in the Goodridge Elementary area say a woman and a child have been going door-to-door requesting donations for the school’s PTA.

The school district says there is no such fundraiser going on.

If you encounter the possible scam, contact the Boone County Sheriff’s Office.
