(Cleves, Oh.) - Newly released surveillance camera images show an armed robber holding up a Great Clips salon. The robbery happened at the Great Clips Hair Salon located at 4350 State Route 128 in Cleves on Monday night around 8:50 p.m. On Thursday, the Hamilton County Sheriff's Office released images of the suspect at the crime scene. According to the sheriff's office, the suspect entered the store and displayed a black handgun to the employees and ordered them to get down on the floor and not to  look at him. The suspect then ordered the two employees into the office and demanded that they remove personal items. The suspect ordered the employees to exit the store through the rear door. The suspect fled the store with the personal items, two purses and a cellular phone belonging to the employees as well as an undetermined amount of cash from the store. There were no other customers in the store at the time of the robbery and the employees were not injured. A police K9 responded to the scene and conducted a track but could not locate the suspect. Investigators did successfully track and recover the cellular telephone from the location where it had been discarded several miles away. The suspect is described as a male white in his 20’s, wearing a dark colored knit cap, a dark brown fake beard, a long sleeve thermal shirt, black gloves, blue denim pants and dark colored shoes. That description is very similar to a man who held up two other tri-state Great Clips salons in Lawrenceburg and Clermont County, Ohio. Anyone with information regarding this incident is asked to contact Crime Stoppers at (513) 352-3040.
