Angevine Cabin Celebrates Pioneer Day With Re-Dedication

The re-dedication will be held on October 26.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Dearborn County Historical Society Pioneer Day is this Saturday, October 26.

What better way to celebrate than to re-dedicate a local landmark?

The Angevine Cabin re-dedication will take place on Saturday from 10 AM - 2 PM. The event will be held at the cabin on W. High Street in downtown Lawrenceburg.

Visitors will be able to take a step back in time to the 1800s by viewing historic demonstrations, including blacksmithing, butter churning, spinning and weaving, vintage cookstove demonstrations, paper making and more.

Horse and trolley rides, Vance-Tousey House tours, and music by the Indiana 35th Pipes & Drums will also be featured at the event.

This family friendly event is free to attend.

For any questions, you can contact the Dearborn County Historical Society at 812-537-4075.
