(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Perfect North Slopes is open for business.
The ski area in Lawrenceburg opened for its 39th season on Sunday.
Temperatures have been cold enough lately to allow Perfect North’s snow guns to make plenty of snow to get about half of its ski runs open. More terrain will open each day as crews continue to push snow around with their snow cats.
“After an awesome opening day at Perfect North Slopes yesterday, the ski area is looking great.,” said Alex Perfect. “While there is still lots more snowmaking needed to get our terrain opened, the snow we have is shaping up very nicely.”
More snowmaking was happening overnight Sunday into Monday.
Snow tubing is not yet available.
