Pedestrian in Critical Condition After Being Struck on Turfway Road

Florence Police responded to the incident on Tuesday night.

(Florence, Ky.) – A pedestrian was struck while walking along Turfway Road in Florence on Tuesday night.

Florence Police responded to the vehicle collision near the BP Gas Station around 9:36 p.m.

Upon arrival, officers discovered that a passenger car was traveling eastbound on Turfway Road and collided with a pedestrian in the middle of the turn lane.

The passenger car, a small silver SUV, fled the scene, according to Florence Police.

The pedestrian was transported to UC Medical Center by ambulance. The unidentified victim is listed in critical condition.
