The investigation started when the alleged victim told a school resource office about the abuse.

(Switzerland County, Ind.) - A Patriot man is accused of child molesting.
Joshua Shannon, 38, is in the Switzerland County Jail charged with Child Molesting (Level 4 felony), Attempted Promoting Prostitution (level 4 felony), and Child Solicitation (level 5 felony).
The investigation began in April after the victim told a school resource officer that she was being abused. The child was interviewed about the alleged abuse by forensic interviewers at the Children’s Advocacy Center of Southeastern Indiana.
During questioning, Shannon denied ever touching the victim in a sexual way.
Shannon’s bond has been set at $5,000 cash and $5,000 surety.
