Opening Knight Earns Grand Champion at Loveland Showfest

It was Opening Knight's fourth Grand Championship this year.

(Aurora, Ind.) – South Dearborn Opening Knight and the Overtones traveled to Loveland, Ohio on Saturday for the annual Loveland High School Showfest.

Opening Knight’s “electric” performance earned them another Grand Championship of the Small Mixed Division.

It is their fourth Small Mixed Grand Championship of 2024.

Their performance placed them higher than several show choirs in the Large Mixed Division, which led to Opening Knight being named a Nighttime Finalist.

Maddy Burress won Best Female Soloist and dance captain Myla Bennett was named Outstanding Performer.
