One Killed After Teens Find Loaded Gun In Harrison Home

Investigators say the gun was mishandled, leading to the death of a 15-year-old boy.

(Harrison, Oh.) – One person is dead after a group of teens found a loaded gun in a Harrison home. 

Police responded to a home on the 10000 block of Winding Way Drive near Westbrook Drive on Wednesday evening around 7:50.

According to a FOX 19 report, a 15-year-old mishandled the gun and suffered a self-inflicted gunshot wound. He was pronounced dead at the scene. His name was not released.

Three other juveniles were in the home at the time of the incident. No adults were present.

A 16-year-old was taken into custody and charged with Reckless Homicide. The teen is held in the Hamilton County Juvenile Detention Center.
