One Injured In South Friendship Road Motorcycle Crash

The crash took place Tuesday evening.

(Versailles, Ind.) – One person was injured in a motorcycle accident in Versailles.

The Friendship Volunteer Fire Department was dispatched to the crash in the area of 7000 South Friendship Road on Tuesday around 6:46 p.m.

Upon arrival, responders found a motorcycle and its rider approximately 50 feet down the hillside. The rider, who remains unidentified, was alert and responsive but had injuries serious enough to call for air care.

The status of the injured person has not been released.

Ripley County Sheriff’s Department, Ripley County EMS and Dillsboro EMS assisted at the scene.
