One Injured in Semi Accident Near Batesville

The accident took place early Tuesday morning.

(Batesville, Ind.) - One person was injured in a semi-tractor trailer accident on Tuesday morning near Batesville. 

Batesville Fire and EMS responded to the accident along Interstate 74 westbound at 4:55 a.m.

One patient, whose identity was not released, was transported from the scene with non-life-threatening injuries. A cause of the accident is unknown at this time. 

Batesville Fire and EMS were assisted at the scene by Indiana State Police and the Franklin County Sheriff's Department.
