The accident took place along U.S. 50 on Tuesday afternoon.

(Versailles, Ind.) – One person was injured in a single vehicle accident on Tuesday afternoon.
Versailles Fire Rescue was dispatched to the accident on U.S. 50, just west of Versailles. The vehicle went off the roadway and rolled into a cornfield.
One person was transported to an area hospital with unknown injuries.
The cause of the accident is under investigation.
Ripley County EMS, Indiana State Police, Osgood Police, and the Ripley County Sheriff’s Office assisted at the scene.
