(Dearborn County, Ind.) - One Dearborn has released its 2024 Annual Report, celebrating a transformative year of regional wins, strategic growth, and community investment across Dearborn County.
The report showcases milestones that have positioned the county for long-term success, most notably Dearborn County’s selection for the Indiana Stellar Pathways program—a designation that secured more than $7 million in grant funding for transformational projects in Bright, Greendale, and Dillsboro.
“This past year was a true turning point,” said Mark Graver, President of the One Dearborn Board of Directors. “The Stellar designation, our new Strategic Investment Plan, and the continued execution of READI projects signal a major leap forward for our region. It’s a testament to the power of collaboration and shared vision.”
Key highlights from the 2024 Annual Report include:
- Completion of the 2025 One Dearborn Strategic Investment Plan, building on the 2018 Action Plan.
- $10 million in READI 2.0 funds awarded to the SEI Region, continuing momentum from READI 1.0.
- 29 business retention and expansion (BRE) visits conducted—a new record for the organization.
- Two major business attraction/expansion projects announced, bringing nearly $1 million in capital investment and up to 66 new jobs.
- Strengthened partnerships through expanded service agreements with local governments, including the Town of Dillsboro and City of Greendale.
- Launch of a redesigned www.1dearborn.org website with enhanced marketing tools, powered by a Duke Energy Partnership Grant.
“Our role as a connector, convener, and champion for economic development has never been stronger,” said Mike Perleberg, Executive Director of One Dearborn. “With a clear plan, community-driven vision, and strong regional partnerships, we are entering 2025 with real momentum.”
