One Dead After Single-Vehicle Accident In Dearborn Co.

The accident happened Monday morning on Ennis Ridge Road.

(Dearborn County, Ind.) - One person is dead after a Monday morning accident in Dearborn County.

Dearborn County Sheriff's deputies and St. Leon Fire and EMS responded to the single-vehicle accident around 8:30 a.m. in the area of Ennis Ridge Road in Kelso Township. 

According to Sheriff Shane McHenry, a vehicle was traveling north on Ennis Ridge Road when it left the roadway and crashed into a group of trees. 

The male driver, who remains unidentified, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The preliminary investigation revealed that speed was a factor in the crash.
