(Switzerland County, Ind.) – A one-day closure is planned next week on State Road 56.
Indiana Department of Transportation maintenance crews announced today plans to close a section of State Road 56 on or after Wednesday, November 17.
The road is scheduled to close from approximately 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. between Vevay and Madison.
Crews will be replacing a pipe just east of Spring Branch Road.
Motorists are reminded to slow down, use extra caution, and drive distraction-free in and near all work zones.
All work is weather dependent and schedules are subject to change.
