Ohio County Tourism Announces 2025 Marketing Grant Recipients

Nearly $30,000 in grants for 12 events was awarded.

(Rising Sun, Ind.) - Ohio County Tourism, Inc. is pleased to announce their 2025 Marketing Grant recipients.

Nearly $30,000 in grants for 12 events was awarded by the Ohio County Tourism, Inc. board of directors during their January meeting.

The purpose of marketing grants is to help defray marketing costs for brochures, posters, advertising, signs, banners, etc., for not-for-profit organizations that help generate tourism to Rising Sun/Ohio County. All events must be held in Rising Sun/Ohio County in 2025.

Awards were given to the following organizations: the Ohio County Historical Society for their Spring Market; Spring Tea; History Camp; Chili Cook Off; Christmas Market and Christmas Tea.

Other recipients include: the Ohio County Youth Development, Inc. for the 4-H Fair & Open Beef Preview Show; the Rising Sun Band Boosters for the Shiner Pride Car Show; the City of Rising Sun for the Navy Bean Fall Festival; the Ohio Valley River Cats for the Catfish Tournament; and the Conductors of Indiana Train Club for the Christmas Train Show.
