Ohio County Intersection Reopens After Downed Wires Incident

(Ohio County, Ind.) - The intersection of Nelson and Salem Ridge had to be shut down late Wednesday night. 

Ohio County Communications reported downed wires around 10:48 p.m.

An electric pole reportedly broke, causing the wires to come down. 

Salem Ridge Road was temporarily closed at Nelson and at Poor House Hill Road. 

Ohio County Communications announced the reopening of the intersection at 12:54 a.m. Thursday.
