OCCF: Applications Available for Community/Junior College Scholarship

(Rising Sun, Ind.) - The Ohio County Community Foundation 2025 Community/Junior College scholarship application for Cycle II is currently available.

The application can be found on the Foundations website: www.occfrisingsun.com. “Click” on scholarships at the top of the page and then select Junior/Community College from the drop-down menu. Applications are due July 18th at 3:00 p.m.

The Community/Junior College Scholarship is a non-competitive scholarship open to all Ohio County, IN residents who will be attending an accredited two-year college or trade school, have been a resident of the county for at least 1 year, have already obtained a high school diploma, HSE or GED and that meet all program requirements as stated in the application. The scholarship is available to those looking to return to school, not just recent graduates.

The scholarship amount is $1,000 per scholarship cycle. Applicants are eligible to apply for the Community/Junior College Scholarship up to a total of six times. You must fill out a new application each cycle that you would like to be considered. This scholarship is offered three times throughout the calendar year.
