(Florence, Ky.) - Boone County Sheriff's Office detectives executed a search warrant at a home on Plantation Drive in Florence on December 23.

The suspect, Anderson Moore, was arrested the following Friday on child pornography charges.

The Boone County Sheriff’s Office initiated the investigation into an IP address found to be connected to the sharing of numerous files that were known to contain child sexual abuse material. The IP address was ultimately found to be registered to Moore’s home address.

Boone County detectives, along with the Criminal Forensic Unit, Electronic Crimes Unit and electronics detection K-9, executed a search warrant at Moore’s residence early Tuesday morning, recovering numerous electronic devices and other electronic media storage.

During an interview, Moore admitted to detectives that he used torrent software to download and view files which contained media files of juveniles engaged in various sexual acts. He also admitted to uploading those same videos.

Moore, 48, was charged with twenty-six (26) counts of Distribution of Matter Portraying a Sexual Performance by a Minor Under 12 and thirty-four (34) counts of Possession of Matter Portraying a Sexual Performance by a Minor.
