The ceremony takes place this Sunday in Lawrenceburg

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Nicholas Thomas will have a street dedicated in his honor.
The Lawrenceburg native tragically passed away last July at the age of 40 after a battle with lung cancer as a non-smoker.
On Sunday, a street dedication ceremony in honor of Thomas will take place at Euphemia Street in Lawrenceburg. The ceremony is scheduled to begin at 2:00 p.m.
Thomas served his community as a Reserve Officer for Lawrenceburg, where he was a familiar and friendly face at many local events. Professionally, he worked as a General Manager for Mike's Car Wash.
He was known for his big heart, quick wit, and dedication to his community.
The dedication ceremony is open to the public.
