New Officer Sworn-in, Four Others Receive New Appointments

There has been some reshuffling at Lawrenceburg Police Department.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - There has been some reshuffling at Lawrenceburg Police Department. 

This week, Mayor Kelly Mollaun made four new appointments and swore-in the department's newest officer, Richie Lay. 

Of the new appointments, Brian Potts was appointed as dayshift Lieutenant, while Josh Bauer will serve as nightshift Lieutenant. 

Daniel Rosengarn was appointed as Sergeant as he will oversee the planning for city events and the School Resource Officers. Greg Cannon resigned his nightshift Lieutenant position in order to come to dayshift. 

Cannon chose to transfer back to his previous role as Sergeant over K9's.
