(Aurora, Ind.) - A new mural has been unveiled in Aurora.
Mark and Guinevere Banschbach recently commissioned Andrea Grimsley to paint a water recreation mural at Lighthouse Point Yacht Club.
This project was funded by a $10,000 grant through the Indiana Destination Development Corporation. The mural shows fun water recreation activities associated with rivers, creeks, water sports, and historic cities and towns along the Ohio River, including Aurora.
It also showcases the economic development impact with house, Lesko Park and trails.
Community members will find the new mural attached to a new boat and RV storage facility that is currently under construction.
The Lighthouse Point Yacht Marina features 90 covered boat slips and 60 uncovered boat slips, ship store, fuel, service, pontoon rental, Gazebo and event space rentals.
Thirty covered storage units are currently under construction at 30, 40, and 50 foot options for boats and RVs. Plus 50 additional outside storage lots with service and launch abilities. Storage available mid-January with 1st month FREE with 6 month contract.
