(Batesville, Ind.) - A new mural has been installed as part of the Art on Main mural project that Batesville Community Education Foundation (BCEF) is sponsoring.

The program features rotating artwork from students in the Batesville Community School Corporation.

Student artist, Alexis Schiller, a fifth grader at BIS, colored the globe with colored pencils and painted the background with watercolors for her submission.

The mural is on the side of The Simons Company building, at the corner of Main and George Streets in downtown Batesville.

BCEF wants to thank Olivia Branch, Jimmy Rowland, Nick Maple and Jama Linkel-Cleghorn for their involvement and time dedicated to the project.
