(Erlanger, Ky.) - A new airline is coming to Cincinnati/Northern Kentucky International Airport.

Sun Country Airlines will begin nonstop service between Cincinnati and Minneapolis/St. Paul on May 14. The service will operate twice a week on Fridays and Sundays, connecting travelers to attractions like the Mall of America, Prince’s home and more.

One-way fares are as low as $39.

“We’re thrilled to welcome Sun Country as the newest airline to serve CVG,” said Candace McGraw, chief executive officer, CVG. “Sun Country’s low-cost, nonstop service to Minneapolis paired with its cargo partnership with Amazon offers strong alignment with CVG and will benefit both the local traveler and our regional economy.”

Sun Country Airlines becomes the 12th airline operator at CVG.

Their aircraft configuration consists of 186 seats with two seat options and different amenities. The onboard experience includes free in-flight entertainment, and a free complimentary soft drink on every flight.
