(Burlington, Ky.) - The suspect in a high-profile murder case in Boone County is facing new charges for possession of child pornography.

David Dooley is accused of murdering co-worker Michelle Mockbee at Thermo-Fischer Scientific in Florence in 2012. He was convicted once, but that conviction was overturned by a Boone County judge in 2017 after it was determined prosecutors did not share video evidence with Dooley’s defense.

A Boone County grand jury indicted Dooley on charges of use of a minor in a sexual performance and possession of matter portraying a sexual performance by a minor.

The indictment dated August 21 says the alleged crimes happened between 2004 and 2007.

Dooley remains in jail as he waits for his second murder trial to begin in 2019.
