The fire started just before midnight Thursday.

(Osgood, Ind.) – Multiple agencies responded to a house fire near Osgood late Thursday night.
Napoleon Volunteer Fire Department were called just before midnight to assist Osgood Firefighters at a home on County Road 500N.
Upon arrival, firefighters found heavy fire conditions. Due to concerns about the stability of the structure, crews were forced to move to the exterior. Crews remained on scene into the early morning hours Friday, using a nearby pond and tanker for water supply.
Firefighters from Versailles, Delaware, Holton, Milan and New Marion assisted at the scene, in addition to Ripley County EMS and Aurora Fire.
It is unknown at this time if any injuries occurred.
The fire remains under investigation.
