(Harrison, Oh.) - Greenskeepers at Circling Hills Golf Course have a different kind of divot to fix after storms passed through the area earlier this week.
A lightning strike hit the flagstick on Hole #2, blowing out the cup and leaving a branching, scorched pattern across the green.
The charge then traveled across the surface and damaged nearby irrigation equipment.
"We appreciate your patience as we work to restore the green," reads a statement from Circling Hills Golf Course.
