Morris Firefighters Rescue Dog from Icy Pond

The incident took place on Monday.

(Morris, Ind.) - Morris Volunteer Fire Department came to the rescue earlier this week. 

Firefighters were dispatched to Indian Lake Campground Pond on Monday after a dog had fallen through the ice. 

Assistant Chief Ben Eisert is shown above with the rescued dog coming back to shore. 

The dog was treated by a veterinarian and returned home to its owners.
