(Covington, Ky.) - Today is the ninth anniversary of one of the tri-state's most-vexing missing persons cases.

Paige Johnson's family held a vigil in Covington on Sunday to remember her and demand closure.

The 17-year-old mother was from Florence. She had been dropped off by a friend in Covington on September 23, 2010, only to never been seen or heard from again.

She would be 26-years-old now.

An investigator from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children will take the case next year after Covington Police exhausted all their leads.
