Missing Teen Girl Found In Dearborn County

The 17-year-old was reported missing near Yorkville on Monday.

(Dearborn County, Ind.) - A teenage girl reported missing in Dearborn County has been found safe.

The sheriff’s office says that 17-year-old Whitley Sierra McCabe was reported missing on Monday, April 1. She was last seen at around 2:10 p.m. walking through a field near the 7600 block of York Ridge Road near Yorkville.

McCabe was found safe either late Monday night or early Tuesday morning, the sheriff's office indicated in an update around 4:00 a.m.

Circumstances surrounding the teenager's disappearance have not been released.
