Missing NKY Teen Safely Located

(Union, Ky.) – A missing teen has been located safely in northern Kentucky.

Boone County Sheriff's deputies were dispatched to a home in Union early Friday morning for a report of a missing 13-year-old male. 

According to the Boone County Sheriff’s Office, the teen ran into the woods from his home, where he has fallen asleep in the past.

After an extensive search of the wooded area, the teen was located safely around 7:00 a.m.
