Minor Traffic Impacts on Mineola Pike to Replace Water Lines Next Week

(Boone County, Ind.) - The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet (KYTC) District 6 Office advises motorists of minor traffic impacts next week on KY 3076 (Mineola Pike) as workers remove and replace various water lines along the roadway and intersections. Most of the work will take place at night with the potential of a minor daytime flagging operation.

When crossing the Olympic Drive intersection, flaggers will direct traffic one direction at a time on each side of the median island. Flaggers may periodically stop traffic briefly. Nighttime operations will take place from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. starting Monday, Jan. 9, and continuing into Friday Morning.

Minor impacts may also occur during the day shift next week, including occasional flagging to allow construction equipment to enter and exit the work zone.
