(Greendale, Ind.) – A milling and paving project is continuing on State Road 1.
Dave O’Mara Construction Co. has been contracted to complete the $5.5 million project on a 15-mile stretch of SR 1 between U.S. 50 in Greendale and State Road 46 in St. Leon.
Last week, milling started at Bellview Drive in Greendale.
Greendale Police announced today that Bellview Drive will have temporary road closures throughout the day (Monday, August 23) while being paved.
Motorists are encouraged to use an alternative route, if possible.
According to INDOT, the project is expected to be completed this fall.
