All students and parents are invited meet teachers, find classrooms, etc.

(Milan, Ind.) – Milan Community Schools will host an Open House this Friday, August 2.
Students entering grades 1-12, along with their parents and guardians, are invited to attend the event which will run from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. at all schools.
Students attending elementary school can use this time to find their classrooms, meet their teacher, and bring in any school supplies. In addition, there will be many community partners and resources available at that time such as the MES Cafe to help set up lunch accounts.
Students attending Intermediate, Middle, and High School can also use this time to receive their class schedules and find their classrooms. Staff will be available to hand out any class information. Locker assignments will be given and students are encouraged to locate their lockers and test their combinations.
Orientation for Pre-K and Kindergarten will be held on Tuesday, August 6. 1-1:30 (Franklin and Livorno), 2-2:30 (Kurtz and Potter), 3-3:30 (Obermeyer).
The first student day is Wednesday, August 7. Kindergarten will begin on Thursday, August 8 and Pre-K will begin on Friday, August 9.
