A cause of the deadly fire cannot be determined, investigators say.

(Milan, Ind.) - The investigation is continuing into the death of a Milan man in a house fire.
Robert “Bob” Brewington, Jr. died when a fire tore through his home on Delaware Road the evening of Wednesday, December 12.
The Indiana Fire Marshal’s Office is investigating the fire, but a cause has not been identified.
“The cause of the fire at 2077 N. Delaware. Rd. is officially undetermined due to the amount of damage to the property,” said Indiana Department of Homeland Security public information officer John Harkabus.
Brewington’s visitation will be held Tuesday, December 18 at 4:00 p.m. at Stratton-Karsteter Funeral Home in Versailles, followed by funeral services at 7:00.
According to his obituary, Brewington had suffered a debilitating stroke in 2013.
