(Milan, Ind.) – A big celebration will take place this March.
The Milan ‘54 Museum has sent out a save the date for Saturday, March 23.
On that day, the museum will host the Milan ‘54 Championship 70th Anniversary Celebration.
It was March 20, 1954, when Milan knocked off Muncie Central 32-30 in the state championship game. To date, Milan is the smallest school to ever win a single-class Indiana high school basketball state championship with an enrollment of 161.
