Get in the holiday spirit in downtown Lawrenceburg.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – Community members are invited to enjoy a Christmas holiday tradition in downtown Lawrenceburg.
The annual Mayor’s Reception and Christmas Tree Lighting Ceremony takes place on Sunday, November 26 at the clock tower at the end of Walnut Street.
Festivities will begin at the Lawrenceburg Event Center at 5:30 p.m. with the Cincinnati Brass Band, hors d’oeuvres and drinks station. A preview of the Central Elementary School Christmas Essay contest will also take place.
At 6:45, the event will transition to Civic Park.
The Mayor’s Welcome will take place at 7:00, followed by the lighting of the Christmas tree and holiday lights display, and announcement of Christmas essay contest winners.
Tiger Pizazz will round out the festivities with a performance at 7:15.
