Man Run Over In Farming Accident

A 72-year-old man was flown to the hospital after being run over by a silage wagon on a Brookville area farm.

(Franklin County, Ind.) - A farming accident in near Brookville sent a man to the hospital last week.

The Franklin County Sheriff’s Department says John Selm, of Brookville, suffered multiple injuries when he was run over by a silage wagon at a farm on Holland Road on Wednesday, September 18.

The 72-year-old was flown by helicopter to University of Cincinnati Medical Center. Selm’s current condition is not known.

Deputies are still investigating the farming accident.

The sheriff’s office was assist by Brookville Volunteer Fire Department, Brookville EMS #2, and Responder 24.
