Longtime Sunman Elementary Employee Announces Retirement Date

Congrats to Mrs. Chris Richter on a lengthy career.

(Sunman, Ind.) - A longtime Sunman Elementary School employee is ready to call it a career. 

Sunman Elementary School announced Thursday that Chris Richter will be retiring on January 31, 2025. 

Richter and a few of her co-workers had a little Halloween fun with the retirement announcement, stating Richter is on her "Farewell Tour." 

She has served 37 years at Sunman Elementary School. She currently serves as the Sunman Elementary Administrative Assistant and Registrar. 

"Her dedication, gentle way, knowledge of the community, and her heart to serve will forever leave an imprint on SES," reads a statement from Sunman Elementary School.
