Long List of East Central HS Students Earn National Honor Society Membership

See which juniors and seniors made the list.

(St. Leon, Ind.) – Many East Central High School juniors and seniors have earned prestigious honors.

This week, the school announced that 252 students earned National Honor Society membership.

To be eligible for National Honor Society membership, high school students must maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher during the second semester of their junior year.

Membership continues if a student maintains the required GPA, actively participates in community service hours, shows leadership qualities, and remains in good standing at East Central High School.

The National Honor Society was established in 1921 to recognize and foster academic achievement. Scholarship, service, leadership, and character make up the four pillars of the NHS and are ideals that remain relevant today.
