East Central 2, South Dearborn 0 – A goal in each half helped EC to this EIAC win. Melody Lutz and Madison Wiedeman were the scorers. Senior goalie Madison Turner had three saves in the shutout. East Central had 31 shots on goal as opposed to South Dearborn’s two.

 

Batesville 7, Greensburg 0 – Batesville goals came courtesy of Audrey Hall (2), Mary Elizabeth Elkins (2), Shelby Rupp, Kelli Hartman, Mary Gutzwiller, and Brooke Rohlfing.

VOLLEYBALL

 

Batesville 3, East Central 2 – 16-25, 25-19, 25-22, 22-25, 18-26 – Batesville’s Bailey Baumer and Rylee Goldsmith helped the Lady Bulldogs pull out this close win. Baumer finished with 19 kills and 13 digs while Goldsmith added 11 kills and 12 digs. Katie Thomas led Batesville in digs with 17, aces with 5, and assists with 42.

 

Rushville 3, South Dearborn 0 – 25-17, 25-13, 25-8

 

Lawrenceburg 3, Oldenburg Academy 0 – 25-17, 25-8, 25-11 – Tigers junior Sophie Sandford racked up 13 kills, 2 aces, and 4 digs. Amber Rox recorded 10 kills while Kalie Martin dove for 10 digs and 2 aces.

 

Rising Sun 3, Switzerland County 1 – 15-12, 21-25, 25-20, 25-20 – Rising Sun junior Alix DeDreu starred with 15 kills and 15 digs. Bailey Baker chalked up an impressive 37 digs. Haley Presley and Bailee Bostic each added 17 digs.
