(Versailles, Ind.) - Genesis Pathways to Success, an initiative of the Ripley County Community Foundation, is thrilled to announce the Photography in Nature Camp Art Show, an inspiring event that will feature the work of local middle school students who participated in our A Summer of STREAM Photography in Nature Camp. The art show will take place at the Versailles State Park Nature Center on June 19, 2024.

Earlier this month, Photography in Nature Camp provided middle school students with a unique opportunity to explore the beauty of the Versailles State Park through the lens of a camera. Under the guidance of experienced instructors, the students also learned essential photography and photo editing skills at the Southeastern Career Center.

The Photography in Nature Camp Art Show will display photographs, highlighting the students' talent and the natural beauty of our local park. Each student’s favorite photo will be mounted and presented, offering a glimpse into their creative journey and unique perspective on nature.

“We are incredibly proud of the dedication and creativity our students showed throughout the camp,” said Amelia Comer, Assistant Program Coordinator at Genesis: Pathways to Success. “The art show is a wonderful opportunity for the community to come together and celebrate the accomplishments of these young artists.”

We warmly invite community members, families, and friends to support and encourage our budding photographers. The event is open to the public with park admission, and hors d’oeuvres and refreshments will be provided.
