Lieutenant Governor Visits Dearborn County To Support Tourism

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Indiana Lt. Governor Suzanne Crouch was in Dearborn County on Wednesday to support the tourism efforts of Perfect North Slopes for their “Club Sponsors Dinner.”  The annual event brought over 150 Club Sponsors from not just Indiana, but Ohio and Kentucky as well.  Sponsors enjoyed a meal, learned of improvements the resort made over the off-season and participated in demonstration of technological enhancements PNS made to support the Sponsors in growing their clubs and the sport.

Lieutenant Governor Crouch opened the evening by welcoming the group who represents more than 5,000 passholders.  “It’s such an honor to be here at Perfect North Slopes as they celebrate their 40th year in business.  They are such an incredible driver for the local economy, but what they really do is create a quality of place which is so important here in Indiana; they welcome people from all walks of life to ski and engage in healthy outdoor activities.”

A club is a group of 15 or more participants who visit the resort 4 or more times during the winter season. Clubs enjoy discounts on a variety of pass types which can range from 4-Visit Passes to the unlimited Perfect Season Pass. Many clubs are formed by leaders at schools, churches, businesses, social groups, neighborhood activity coordinators, and groups of family and friends.

“Our Club Sponsors are foundational to the operation of Perfect North Slopes,” says Chip Perfect, Co-founder and GM of the resort.  “They are the ambassadors who get out into their communities, promote the participation in a healthy, family-friendly activity, and even facilitate travel arrangements to make it possible for many of the kids to be here.  On any given Friday we have clubs from Indianapolis, Cincinnati, Dayton, Lexington, Louisville and beyond.”
