INDIANAPOLIS - State Sen. Jean Leising (R-Oldenburg) has been reappointed by Senate President Pro Tem Rodric Bray (R-Martinsville) to serve as chair of the Senate Committee on Agriculture for the 124th Indiana General Assembly.
Leising will also serve as a member of the following Senate committees:
- Commerce and Technology;

"Indiana is the seventh largest agriculture exporter in the nation, and the industry contributes more than $35 billion to our state's economy each year," Leising said. "That's why I am pleased to once again be asked to serve as chair of the Senate Committee on Agriculture. I look forward to addressing concerns and finding ways to improve and support our state's agricultural environment during the legislative session."
