Lawrenceburg Nominated for Merriest Christmas Town Contest

The winning town will be featured in an original Hallmark movie.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - In celebration of Hallmark Channel's 25th Anniversary, they are looking for the 25 Merriest Christmas Towns across America. 

The Merriest Christmas Towns Contest is up and running and the winning town will be featured in an original Hallmark movie. 

Residents in all 50 states are eligible to nomination a town for consideration. You'll be asked to provide your contact information, the name of the town you're nominating, and supporting materials (photos, videos) that showcase the town's holiday traditions, community spirit, and what makes it deserving of recognition as Hallmark's Merriest Christmas Town. 

The City of Lawrenceburg has been nominated for Hallmark’s Merriest Christmas Town Contest. The more nominations they receive, the better the chances of being in the final running. You can nominate Lawrenceburg again or click below to nominate your favorite local Christmas town. 

Lawrenceburg annually hosts their Winter Wonderland featuring the Mayor's Reception, Tree Lighting, Ice Skating Rink and more - making them an ideal contestant. 

The nomination deadline is 11:59 p.m. ET on August 10, 2026.

After the entry period closes, Hallmark will review all eligible entries and select a group of finalist towns to advance to the public voting phase, which begins August 14 and runs through September 4.

Overall, 25 towns will be recognized as Official Hallmark Christmas Towns and will receive a promotional toolkit that includes an Official Hallmark Christmas Town digital seal, social and marketing templates, and Countdown to Christmas promotional assets to use when promoting their own holiday 2026 town festivities.
