Lawrenceburg Municipal Utilities Customers Warned Of Discount Scam

You've been warned!

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - Lawrenceburg Municipal Utilities customers are being warned of a scam. 

Lawrenceburg Mayor Kelly Mollaun says the city has received multiple reports from LMU customers about a discount scam. 

The scammers are contacting LMU customers and telling them they will receive a 30 percent discount if they agree to certain terms of service and/or make a payment. 

Anyone who receives such a call should contact Lawrenceburg Municipal Utilities at 812-532-3500.
