The first clean-up is scheduled for November 8.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) - A freshman at Lawrenceburg High School is spearheading an effort to keep downtown Lawrenceburg clean.

Kaiden Dugan recently wrote a letter to City of Lawrenceburg Mayor Kelly Mollaun requesting approval for an initiative to get a group of citizens to meet once a month to do a downtown cleanup in Lawrenceburg.

The request was approved, and the first clean-up event will take place on November 8 from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m.

Those interested in joining the initiative are asked to meet at Lawrenceburg City Hall at 230 Walnut Street on the day of the event.
