Help Lauren Hill’s memory live on forever.

(Lawrenceburg, Ind.) – The group that wants to build a park in Lauren Hill's name will update the public on their process next month.
Friends of Lauren Hill Memorial Park Board Members and Advisors will be hosting a kick-off event at the Dearborn Adult Center, 311 W Tate St, Lawrenceburg on Saturday, November 9.
The group announced in February its plans to establish a dog park and mountain biking park on Georgetown Road. The parcel of land is currently owned by the City of Greendale, which has agreed to lease it to the park group pending certain approvals.
The organization started the project to see through the vision of bringing communities together and to convey the message that Lauren inspired through her battle with brain cancer, to "Never Give Up" on life or hope.
The November 9 meeting will include an update on the park's progress, in addition to letting community members know how they can get involved in building the park.
If interested, you can RSVP to the event by emailing Friendsoflaurenhill@gmail.com or select “going” on the event Facebook page.
